User-Generated Content

1. User Submissions

By submitting content to Real Guitar Stories — including but not limited to text, photographs, images, audio, and other materials (“User Content”) — you confirm that you are the rightful owner of such content or that you have the necessary rights and permissions to share it.

You retain full ownership of your User Content.

2. Non-Commercial Use of Content

Real Guitar Stories is an independent editorial project and not a commercial marketplace.

User Content submitted to the site will not be sold, licensed, or used for direct commercial profit, nor will it be exploited for financial gain by the site owners or third parties.

There is no monetization of individual stories, images, or instruments contributed by users.

3. Promotional Use for the Project Only

By submitting User Content, you grant Real Guitar Stories a non-exclusive, royalty-free, revocable license to use such content solely for the purpose of promoting the project itself, including but not limited to:

  • the official website
  • newsletters
  • social media channels
  • presentations or editorial materials related to Real Guitar Stories

This promotional use is intended only to increase visibility of the project, not to generate direct revenue or commercial profit from the content itself.

4. No Transfer to Third Parties for Profit

User Content will not be transferred, sold, or licensed to third parties for commercial purposes.

Any external use beyond the scope of Real Guitar Stories promotion will require explicit prior consent from the content owner.

5. Attribution and Respect

Whenever User Content is used, Real Guitar Stories commits to:

  • crediting the author whenever reasonably possible
  • preserving the integrity and meaning of the original content
  • avoiding any use that could misrepresent, alter, or decontextualize the work

6. Right to Removal

Contributors may request the removal of their User Content at any time by contacting the site administrators.

Upon request, the content will be removed from the website and from future promotional use within a reasonable timeframe.
